Just wanted to check in...

So sorry I STILL haven't got upto date on pics......my nan was rushed into hospital & life has been a non stop round trip of school in Cambridge & hospital in Watford. Life is very cruel to the very elderly & they seem to suffer so much....just wishing I could make their lifes a tiny bit better....they are both tormented & struggling so much with life, when they simply do not deserve it!! Anyway, sorry....having severe probs with the joy of a hormonal 12 year old son with Aspergers, ADHD & sensory processing disorder soooo does not help either.

I really hope life gets onto something of an even keel soon, as soooo fed up of apologising...so gawd knows how fed up you lot are......for failing miserably to keep my blog upto date :o(

Hope everyone is well & having fab crafty times & I just want to say a huge thank you to my very good friends....you know who you are......for giving me such wonderful support, life would be so much harder without you all there.

Golly Gosh............................

Well, after all the excitement and build up to the main event, that would be the ArtsyCrafts event where I got to meet Lord Tim of Holtz, it is now all over and I have landed with a big bump back to reality!!! It really was the most A MAZING day.....I got to spend most of it with the lovely Hels & Dan who truly made a fantastic day even more enjoyable :o)  We started off with our class with Linda & Leandra and after recovering from an ink bottle exploding on my hands, it had to be a nice deep purple lol, I managed to recover & keep up with them and produce the most beautiful creation above!!

Next was the MAIN event......meeting the Lord of Grunge himself......O!M!G!!!!!!! He is truly the most fantastic teacher......baring in mind he had a room full of star struck, giggley girlies, and Dan, sorry matey, he very quickly put us all at ease and had us cutting, gluing & getting painty & inky in no time. The only problem was it just flew by!!!! I will put some pics up of the finished box once I er...finish it lol!!! Need to find some 'me' time to create in peace lol :o)

The other highlight for me was meeting the lovely Sandie whoo is the lovely host of PaperPlay Challenges blog for whom I have just become a DT member.....this week is my first week on duty.....so please be gentle with me.....am learning as I go about leaving comments on the blogs of sooooo many peeps who have entered, 143 as of this afternoon, phew!!!!, I am really hoping I haven't missed any, but feel free to yell at me if you haven't had a comment by Wednesday from someone from the DT :o) There is still time to enter this weeks challenge, which is to include a sentiment on your creation, just make sure you have it linked to the blog by Wednesday!

I will actually get my arse in gear and sort pics of my DT cards out before next week.....for some reason Mr Blogger is playing silly buggers and will only let me add 2 pics per post.....hmmmph!!!! So I am off to go and read the help section, again, work out what I am doing wrong and hopefully sort it out....if not you may well get umpteen posts in 1 day of all my latest stuff.....feel free to shoot me lol ;o)

ok, so I totally failed at doing what I had set out to do, which was to get all my pics on here!!! Unfortunately life kinda ran away with me with 1 emergency after another...BUT, finally I do believe normal life has now resumed :o)
Anyway, I have decided to make myself a VERY late new year resolution of updating my blog at least every 2 weeks.....am even going to set an alarm on my mobbly to kick me up the bum to remind me lol!!!!
My exciting news is that I have been invited to be a DT member on the wonderful http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/........really chuffed but rather nervous to be amongst such talented design team members....just hope can perform to a decent level!!!!
Have also just received new stamps for the next Stamp Addicts DT......they are soooooooooo not me....fairies....but am loving the challenge :o)
Right, on that note I am off to attempt to work out how to put links in posts & various other rather simple, but mistifying to me, things in my posts!!! Anyone who could give me a remote blogger lesson would be loved forever more :o)

am I bad??????????????????????????

I am truly awful & am totally disgusted with myself that it was MAY, yes MAY, when I last blogged!!!! In my defence we have had several family emergencies etc that have simply taken up all my time! am hoping, we are nearly at the end of most recent one and that normal service will resume VERY soon lol!!!
On a more fantastically happier note, I applied for a position on the amazing Stamp Addicts design team & in amongst the most recent crisis I got the wonderful news that I have got on to their DT!!!! you should have seen me whooping for joy outside Watford AAU dept in the rain, think they all thought i had truly lost the plot lol!!
So, if you are visiting my blog for the 1st time via the link now on the Stamp Addicts blog, I apologise sincerely about the neglect my poor blog has been subjected too of recent months :o( I promise to kick my own arse into gear & start updating on a regular basis, honestly!!
I have the joyous task this week of filling in my son's DLA form online, but as soon as I have finished that, probably sometime next month then lol, I will start getting pics up of cards/art/gifts etc I have made since my last post!!!! Failing that if you go to my FB page all of my recent stuff is in my albums there. If I can work out how to put a link into posts I will do so next time lol!!

Sorry, I have been absent for so long, unfortunately I have been in the grips of a really severe flare of fibromyalgia & have just about been coping with the essentials of everyday life! Also have been having major probs with blogger, but, I am hoping after Rosie very kindly left me some tips (thank u so much Rosie xx) on how to get pics in my posts again that I just mite finally crack it.......wont hold my breath tho........haha......cant anyway at moment as asthma is really playing up!!!

Rite, going to attempt to insert a pic, hopefully it will work.........if it does i will get posting pics of my cards, altered art etc that I have been doing over last few months......will also get the pics of the samples I was busy making for Kirsty Wiseman over the past couple of weeks.....have got stuff to do now, so will get busy doing that tomorrow.

hopefully, you can see pics of the mothers day card I made for my Mum this year!!!

why oh why..................

.......can't I add pictures to my blog???? it is driving me mad!!!! I will figure it out.....its just taking far longer than I thought!! I have been able to add various other stuff, but pics of my cards still eludes me...grrr at my lack of html knowledge!! oh well......off to the help section in the hope of there being a dumb person tutorial lol!!!
On a crafting note, I have been a busy bee & have created some cards & altered art, that I am really pleased with, using loads of Tim Holtz techniques from his book & naturally loads of his products............hopefully pics will soon follow!!

How bad am I?

Life has really taken over the past few months....the last thing I had anytime for was doing this blog.....much to my regret!! I have also been having major flairs of my Fibromyalgia on a way too regular basis of late & at times struggled to even make it out of bed, let alone get on my laptop!!
Oh well, as you may be aware, I am honoured to have been chosen as a design team member for Kirsty Wisemans fab new cd rom.....cant convey how thrilled I was to get her email asking me!!
I will be putting pics of my cards on here over the weekend AND promise to put pics ofthe many cards & altered art projects I have made since September......it may take a while so please bare with me!! I solemnly promise to update my blog at lest once a week from now on (have set a reminder on my mobbly, how sad is that, Fibromyalgia makes me that forgetful!!!)
Rite, off to try & get pics from camera onto laptop & then from there onto here....I feel a nose bleed coming on lol!!!

I am an awful, awful blogger for not updating this site since May. My 1 and only excuse is that the very frustrating everyday life has simply got in the way!! Anyway, I have managed to keep upto date with my crafting and promise to upload the last 4 months creations over the next week.

Thank the lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have finally managed to get back onto blogger.....well, I am assuming this will actually post on the page when I click on the publish post button!! Has been a very hectic couple of months with loads of birthdays, a trip to see my mum and dad in Spain, trying to sort respite care out for my nan and grandad (no easy feat I can assure you). I am now faced with Fathers Day, mums 60th, sister in laws 40th plus dads, the mother in laws, father in laws, nans & grandads birthdays between now and the middle of July.................aaaaaaargh.....handmade gifts/memory books/cards etc all to do......and do you think I have got a single decent idea for any....of course not!!! I am hoping that once I have got my nan and grandad sorted out in the next few weeks (please god) that my crafty mojo will go into overdrive!! Anyway, I have put some pics from holiday....top 1 being my mum and dad and the second 2 are fab photos my hubby managed to take!! will post pics of what I have been creating(hopefully) tomorrow. Happy crafting and love to all xxx p.s I am thrilled to report that my fab bro finished the London Marathon.....very, very proud of him, he raised a staggering £2256 for FSID in memory of my darling Jess.

have been a busy bee......but

I can't put any pics of the lovely stuff I have been creating as they are Mothers Day cards and gifts for my mum and mother in law (well obviously lol). So will put pics on after they have been recieved. have got 1 more card and an item to alter and then need to get cracking on next months birthdays.....brother in law, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and a hubby all by the 11th April!!! And my new years resolution was to make all the adults presents this year.....ever regret saying a resolution publicly?? all of my prima bits from the craft day on qvc have arrived, so will be creating a card using them asap!!
